Dasun Edirisinghe Lead UX Designer/Lead WordPress  Developer from Sri Lanka, and is obsessed with WordPress.

He started to use WordPress from WordPress 3.1 (2011),  when he was looking for  a quick solution to build a Social network. Then he found BuddyPress and  began to learn it deeper. He then tinkered with WordPress, which became his hobby, passion, and career.

Dasun love to read books and explore the hidden things in Sri Lankan history.

Naweed got to know WordPress five years ago, during the rising tide of the platform’s popularity.

Hailing from the city of Pune in India, his WordPress journey has seen him transform from a freelance developer to the co-founder of a start-up agency in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Naweed has witnessed the rise of WordCamps in India, and as a first time organizer of WordCamp Colombo 2017, he has figured out the formula to deliver a memorable experience this September.

Once a high school English teacher, Mahangu now engineers happiness at Automattic.

He lives in sunny Sri Lanka with his wife and their puppy, Sirius. When not reading or writing, he is usually found running or eating copious amounts of chocolate. He has been using WordPress since 0.70, and has loved every minute of it!
